Fitness concept & project brief
Define the intended users, training needs, available space and operating priorities. Receive a brief that guides layout, equipment and programming decisions.
AEON fitness consulting
Plan and improve the spaces, equipment and programs people use to train. AEON advises hotels, resorts and workplaces on fitness facilities and experiences built around long-term physical capability.
From brief to practical decisions
A hotel guest, an employee and a private-club member use a fitness space differently. AEON starts with those needs, then connects functional layout, equipment and programming to the property’s or organization’s priorities. Assignments can focus on a single decision or an agreed sequence of planning and advisory work.
How AEON can help
Define the intended users, training needs, available space and operating priorities. Receive a brief that guides layout, equipment and programming decisions.
Review functional layout, movement space, circulation and storage. Receive an equipment shortlist with alternatives and purchasing priorities matched to the brief and budget.
Develop program outlines for strength, mobility, conditioning and recovery, with recommendations for session formats, equipment and staffing requirements.
Review the existing space, equipment and program offering. Receive a prioritized assessment of what to retain, improve, replace or introduce.
Provide fitness input to the client’s design, operations and supplier teams. Agree coordination responsibilities, review points and any ongoing advisory support within the project scope.

Hospitality
For hotels, resorts, private clubs and branded residences planning a new facility or improving an existing amenity.

Workplace
For employers, office-property teams and organizations reviewing a workplace gym or developing a practical employee fitness offering.
Defined assignments
A written assessment and prioritized improvement plan for a gym or fitness offering that needs a clearer direction.
A functional fitness brief, layout recommendations and equipment shortlist for coordination with the appointed design team.
A defined guest or employee fitness concept, program outlines and delivery requirements for the client’s operations team.
An agreed schedule of reviews and fitness input as equipment, design and operating decisions develop.
Each proposal identifies the deliverables, project responsibilities, fee and review stages. Remote work, site visits and supplier coordination are agreed according to location and scope.
Relevant experience
AEON’s consulting draws on J. Semrau’s experience as a fitness coach at Mouratoglou Tennis Academy and in developing and operating a hotel personal-training gym.
His work at the property now known as Mouratoglou Hotel & Resort in Sophia Antipolis covered functional gym design, equipment purchasing advice and studio operation. The assignment combined functional layout planning, equipment selection and studio management.
Other assignments include residential gym planning and equipment consulting for private clients on the French Riviera, and gym-design consultations elsewhere in Europe.
That practical experience informs AEON’s approach to hotels and workplaces: understand the users, define the training requirements, then plan the equipment, layout and programming.
